“Education is a human right with immense power to transform. On its foundation rest the cornerstones of freedom, democracy and sustainable human development.”-Kofi Annan
Africa's development is an exciting challenge where African Universities play a vital role. Much like in Western countries, African universities have the great opportunity to shape the minds of those who will bring innovation and development to the continent. Afric@Tech is excited to be a forum where this topic can be discussed and where Africans can be inspired to make positive change. Afric@Tech is also excited to use this forum as an means to facilitate collaboration and exchange of knowledge between Georgia Tech and African Universities.
Join us in a conversation with our panelists focusing on the role of the University in their countries' plans and the role of academic collaboration with peer Western universities such as Georgia Tech.
We have a very driven and committed group in our organization and we are always looking for motivated people to drive us forward.
With an emphasis on our Collaborative Teaching Program, we have revived the organization. The CTP truly embodies our vision of collaborative, action-driven and sustainable development efforts in Africa. We are working very hard to deliver once again on our commitment to this vision !
